Then you probably don't have delete permissions on the source.
On the import screen, click the check box that says:



'Replace existing address book with the imported one? Warning: This 
deletes all entries in your current address book'

when accessing webmail (from mytelus.com) cannot delete address from 
edit link/browse/search.



Cannot also delete the entire address/contacts in the address book in 
order to import the latest contacts. have spoken to cust support from 
Telus. they cannot find a way either. also spoke to Telsu 2nd level 
who also did not have an answer, in fact they were shocked that their 
is no way to delete the old address book in order to import new one.



I will be leaving Canada in a few days before going to Asia, I wouls 
like to have all my contacts available to me before i go
