That seems to be the only message that shows the problem.

I'm thinking that if this issue is turning up in only 1 message in 1
mailbox, then it isn't an IMP issue.  I'm going to set this to bogus
for now unless someone can find a way to reliably reproduce this (or
at least indicate where in the code IMP could possibly be doing this).

When I look at the message using mutt, there's a bunch of nulls in the
body.  Also, the headers displayed in the mailbox index (from,
subject) are incorrect.  The ones displayed in the message view are
correct.  But perhaps this is all related to the nulls in the message.
I don't know how Cyrus allowed the nulls in the message.

The mailbox index shows the message as being from david@, but the
message view shows the message as being from symon@.  The message
view is taking me to the wrong message.
It almost sounds like there may be a corruption in your mailbox (IMAP
side).  I would have no idea how IMP could be at fault since it uses
the same UID variable to obtain the information on the mailbox page as
it passes to the message page as the index.

I just
realized that the headers being shown in the message view are
different from the headers in the message index.
I'm not following you here...

I upgraded from imap 2002e to imap 2004g.  No difference.  I just
realized that the headers being shown in the message view are
different from the headers in the message index.  How do I trace this
down?

if you are only seeing this behavior on that message, then maybe you
should try updating c-client.  That message is not a MIME message so
its possible something is borked in your c-client and it is not
parsing the message correctly when falling back to a RFC822 format
message.

I removed the cache files from /tmp, restarted apache, logged out, and
I'm still having the problem.  Is there something else I need to do to
clear the cache?

works fine for me.  if you have updated from CVS within the last 3-4
days or so, you will need to completely remove all cache files since
the internal data structure of the cache files has changed recently.

I'm running IMP/Horde HEAD with message caching and I'm on the message
view page and IMP says "There was no text in this message part".

The message is attached.
