Wouldn't it be much better to add support for PEAR::Date_Holidays? What does that have to do with improving Kronolith's recurrence support? Um, well... nothing. I've been about to open a new feature request asking for support for PEAR::Date_Holidays to keep track of national holidays. I thought this request was close enough so I suggested it in here instead of opening a new ticket. I'm sorry, if I caused any confusion.

Wouldn't it be much better to add support for PEAR::Date_Holidays? I have not used PEAR::Date_Holidays yet. Does it do it better? If so that's good enough for me. PEAR::Date_Holidays is implementing several filters for national holidays. It provides a function to determine wether a given date is a holiday or not. It's currently in alpha state, though. Kronolith doesn't have a recurrence type that recurs yearly on the same weekday. We might add one in the future, so it a feature request, not a bug.

Hi, I using the remote calendar [ http://ical.mac.com/ical/US32Holidays.ics ] and Thanksgiving appears on the 28th of November 2005 instead of the 24rd. I tried the same calendar in Evolution 2.2.3 and it shows Thanksgiving on the 24rd. This issue is not urgent since it's hard to forget when Thanksgivng is on; 4 day weekend :-) Thanks in advance.
