Horde will work with session.use_trans_sid turned on, but you may see
double session-ids in your URLs, and if the session name in php.ini
differs from the session name configured in Horde, you may get two
session ids and see other odd behavior. The URL-rewriting that
use_trans_sid does also tends to break XHTML compliance. In short, you
should really disable this.

If you have access to the file system, imp/lib/version.php. Otherwise
try to call /horde/test.php in your browser.

We really need a version number, and at least the actual error messages.

You will notice that a Word document has been added to this email
message being composed, and that it is to be treated as an attachment.
It is always good policy to confirm that the correct attachment will
be sent with an email and it is welcomed that this functionality is
provided with the hyperlink [Preview]. Unfortunately clicking on
Preview will bring up a variety of error messages but never a view of
the document itself.  Test emails do, however, show that the
attachment is sent and that it is readable at the other end.

Horde is provided by my hosting company and I have alerted them to
this issue but their response is less than helpful requiring me to
raise a ticket with yourselves.  It would be nice if we could get a
resolution to this problem.

I think I have submitted this issue to the wrong Queue Version but not
sure what to choose.  I find that my Horde version is:

:Last update:   $Date: 2005/08/04 07:19:01

:Revision:      $Revision: 1.84.2.11

Please forward this message to the appropriate place.

The problem/bug:

Using Horde, it has been noticed that there is an error in handling
the preview feature for attachments.  I attach a screen shot of the
area of Horde we are talking about here.[

Subject: [ #ABN-53813-468]: Attachment Preview Failure with Horde

Dear Mr Bradley

Horde, is a 3rd party system that is provided to us,

so that we can provide you with a free webmail

service. As you are no doubt aware, we currently

provide 3 webmail services.

We are not involved with the configuration, installation

or the programming of Horde, it comes automatically

installed with the cpanel software, so unfortunately

we are sorry but we are not able to changed any

configurations of the software.

If you notice any bugs in the software, please notify

Horde directly, so that they can add these to any fixes

they may need to carry out.

Horde can be found at the following URL;

http://www.horde.org

The Support Team
