This may also occur if using an imapproxy and some versions of dovecot.

IMP is using the c-client library (through the PHP imap extension) to set flags. So if there is a problem with your specific mail server, it's probably in the c-client library. Try a different version and recompile PHP.

But other email clients do not have problems about that. I have tested other web clients like Iloha and other software clients and there are no problems. It occurs with IMP only. But I would like to set IMP up as the interface is more friendly than Iloha and others... I will check the IMAP server log deeper cause I am not sure about the flag receive command. I am not sure if the command received is the flag change request or the flag state request...

Well, if the IMAP server receives the flag change as you said, but doesn't change it, then the IMAP server is broken.

Hi again. After succesful instalation of Horde Framework and IMP I have noticed that one of the accounts (the admin one), after reading a message the read flag do not change so it keeps as unread. First, it occured in one account only. But after some operations it starts happening in other accounts. IMAP server is OK as other clients (ie: Outlook), do not have problems with the flags. I have deleted all account preferences in MySQL db but still bugging... The IMAP log seems to receive the change flag command but dont change. Nor in IMP client nor IMAP server. After IMP operation, Outlook show unread state as well. Manually, the read state DO change. Apache: 2.0.5 PHP Version: 5.0.5 PEAR: 1.3.6 MySQL version: 4.0.18-nt Horde Framework Version: 3.0.5 IMP: H3 (4.0.3) Win32 (XP) Thanks in advanced.
