Oh, and btw. Firefox is retrieving the favicon from the webroot, so 
this would only work if Horde is your webroot anyway.

I agree with you in theory but I'm begining to think that web software 
development amounts to developing an elaborate set of workarounds for 
browser quirks :)



I'll just make a local copy.

I find the error logs as annoying as the fact that Firefox is simply 
ignoring the favicon location that we explicitly provide in the HTML 
code. I hesitate to distribute duplicate data only to work around 
buggy browsers.

Firefox appears to look for the favicon.ico icon for a site in the 
document root.  Would it be possible to add a copy of that graphic to 
the document root directory of Horde?  I currently make a copy and put 
it there, so as to cut down on erroneous log entries in Apache's error 
log.
