It turned out to be a strange behaviour in IE that doesn't recognize
that the radio button has changed until the button looses focus. Click
anywhere on the page after changing from All to Any and the page
reloads.
Here are some more detailed steps:
- Login to IMP
- Click on the "Search" button
- Select "From" from the "Message fields" box
- Enter "Wooff" as the address to search for
- Select "From" from the "Message fields" box to search for another
address as well
- Enter "Thew" as the address to search for
- This search should now check my INBOX for all emails from "Wooff" AND "Thew"
- Finally select "Match Any Query" as I want to do an OR search.
However as the page has not been refreshed IMP still thinks I want to
do an AND search
- When I click on "Submit" no results are returned. This is because
IMP was still trying to do an AND search, and not an OR search. If it
had done an OR search then 4 messages should have been returned
I hope that this helps, but if you can still not reproduce this then
please let me know.
Many Thanks,
Simon.

A possible very minor bug, but I thought I should mention it. Firstly
here is a list of the software I am using:
RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 3
MySQL 4.0.24
PHP 4.3.11
Horde: 3.0.4
Imp: H3 (4.0.3)
Ingo: H3 (1.0.1)
Turba: H3 (2.0.2)
Here are the steps I take to produce the bug:
- Login to IMP
- Click on the "Search" button
- In the "Message fields" box select a field e.g. From
- Change the "Message matches" option to "Match Any Query"
- At this point I assume the page should be refreshed. However the
page is not actually refreshed until I change another option
Many Thanks,
Simon.
