If $conf['user']['select_sentmail_folder'] is enabled, and you turn on "Check spelling before sending a message?", sent mail is stored in the default sentmail folder, regardless of what is selected in the "Save a copy in" dialogue box on the message composition screen. This is also a problem in IMP 4.0.3, and presumably FRAMEWORK_3.
