Weirdly, the broken view I was seeing is exactly what Outlook thinks
my folders look like. So this must be a problem with my imap server,
somewhere.

That's as good a place to start as any. :) I didn't really think
anyone else was seeing this, but needed to give myself a placeholder
for it since I keep seeing it every other week or so and then
forgetting.

FWIW, I can't reproduce this.  Might this have something to do with
Jan's additional case checking code he just put into IMAP_Sort::?

Both the sidebar folders and the Folders screen in IMP display correct
information when I log in. However, if I hit the Refresh icon next to
"Folder Navigator", over half of my folders disappear and several
folders that do not exist appear. It appears to lose approx. the first
2/3 of the alphabet for disappearance. For new folders, I have a Zend/
folder with a Projects/ subfolder with a few things in it. After
refreshing, in addition to Zend/ there's a new zend/ (lowercase)
hierarchy with an empty Projects/ container in it (and nothing else).
