Thanks for your reply. However,, when I view the message in imp, the subject is shown correctly. And also the Outlook express doesn't have the problem too. I have many messages have same problem, what should I do. thank you again.

The first message is broken, it contains unencoded multibyte characters.

For some chinese messages, the subject display in inbox mail list is incorrect. But when I click into the message, the subject is shown correctly. The problem message (incorrect.eml), a correct message (correct.eml), screens captures are attached for your information. Thank you.
