date isn't displayed on the mailbox page, str2time() can't handle that
format.
it does in Thunderbird, "Unknown Date". Here is a sample header:

There are two situations where I have seen dates not be rendered
correctly in Horde and Thunderbird. In Thunderbird if the source
mailserver fails to include the date field in the header entirely
Thunderbird fails to show a date, since I didn't have one like that
currently on my mail server I cannot say whether Horde will handle
that correctly or not (typically using the arrival date and time as MS
does), the second problem, and the one I am pointing out above,
definitely applies to IMP and appears to stem from the fact the date
field of the header leads with the day of the week vice the day of the
month. Obviously, neither of these issues prevents Horde or IMP from
functioning but it certainly is annoying, especially when your default
inbox view sorts on date.
