I've implemented the getByUID() call to resolve this issue. Note however that only events in the primary (default) calendar can be updated this way.

After trying to update the respondent status I get the error message: "Video Raum has replied to the invitation to Video. Please review the following information, and then select an action from the menu below. [hand icon] There was an error updating the event: Not supported."
