This has been fixed in CVS already.

The datatree backend is configured with MySQL and works fine creating
task lists and categories. I get that error when I save the new task..

I will try the nightly snapshot.

Looking at tthe current code, the line number doesn't make sense, and
I'm not sure how you'd get that kind of codepath. You might want to
try a nightly snapshop to see if everything stays the same.

In any case, make sure that you have a DataTree backend configured (SQL).

When saving a new task I get the error:

Access denied saving task: <br /> <b>Warning</b>: htmlspecialchars()
expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in
<b>/www/webmail.wolfnet.com/horde/nag/templates/task/task.inc</b> on
line <b>35</b><br /> not found.

I checked the permissions of files and directories and they are ok.
