indeed, both issues are resolved for me. Sorry for the lack of 
feedback,  this one dropped off my radar...

I don't see this.  The fact that the deleted icon is being set tells 
me that deletion is happening properly internally, though.  Maybe the 
CSS for the strikethrough isn't showing properly?  There have been 
some recent changes to clean up IMP CSS, and some recent Horde_Themes 
cleanups, they may have caused this (although, again, I don't see).

Not using a trash folder, when I try to mark a message as deleted from 
the mailbox view, the deleted flag icon shows up on the left hand 
side, but the message is still rendered as unseen and not deleted. In 
addtion, no "purge deleted messages" link is present. Previously 
deleted messages appear correctly in the view.
