I'm not convinced since it's a too simplistic solution, even for our purposes IMO. The most lacking features are a user management and web frontend. Making package releases essentially would get us back on the level of the current application release scripts. I'd rather suggest looking into Pyrus' channel server instead, though I have no idea if it has the features I'm missing from Pirum.
