If you don't know the name of the face you are searching for, then how 
would a list of names help you?  I'm just not seeing this.



If a user wants to add face names to their tags, that can be done 
manually in the UI.  I'm not going to enforce adding face names to 
tags for every user, because every user is not going to want that (I 
know I don't want my tags polluted with information such as this). If 
it's made a per-user option, that still won't help you, as you would 
only get a list of names for users that have enabled this option.

yes i see that, but for the search i must know the name, and i can't 
see there what names are available to search for

Did you see the "Search By Name" feature on the faces page?

because there is no real posibility to get all faces with a special 
name or some sort of list with all faces. so that when i want to see 
all pics with a name that i don't really know exactly then the face 
search is a little bit useless. it is only usefull when the name of 
the face is known. maybe thats a little bit useless, when there is a 
posibillity to list all face names. and this feature is available for 
tags, so thats the way i was thinking that can be relevant.

This seems redundant to me. What's the reasoning/use case?

wan't to have a feature, that when i add a face with a name it should 
also be automatically a tag created for that picture with the name of 
the face
