New Attachment: Screenprint for testing.JPG
We have done more testing on the displaying of Chinese file name in RAR files.
I agree the problem as orginally reported in not a bug.
We have found, which we do believe is a bug, is displaying of the RAR
file in the "sent folder" ... please see attachment
The RAR is displayed correctly as it is sent and the receiver has no
issuse. The problem is when you look back at the email the charaters
are not displayed correctly
If you need a test file please let me know

recent versions.
You are right ... I am using version 3.1.7. For some reason within the
set up of my system it displays as Horde 4.1.6. (Linux) or Horde Imp
H3 4.1.6 (Windows)
Looking at the problem again it may be as simple to correct if I set
the defualt charset to GB2312 (Chinese Simplified) for the system
Is that possible?

I found the following problem
If I attach a RAR file (zip) with a Chinese name ... the name is
corruption when open from Horde
Please note the file name in Horde is displaied fine ... it is the
openning of the file where the problems start
I have check for the same issues in Gmail ... it handles it fine
I have also checked on many PC in China and UK ... we same the same
problem (we do see a local problem)
Any help will very welcome
Regards
Pete
