I can't reproduce this with the current FW_3 code.

Using Horde Groupware Webmail Edtion 1.2 Final with IMP IMAP authentication, no error is received for a wrong password using either Internet Explorer or Firefox as a browser. I see ~~bug 1516~~ but that was apparently fixed in 2005. An example: https://secure.lionserver.co.uk/webmail/ Other messages (e.g. "You have been logged out") display correctly.
