Pretty obvious now that I think about it, but resizing a typical
photograph to a typical thumbnail is a fairly large change...well
beyond what seam carving could be expected to handle.

ImageMagick's ability to easily produce decent seam carvings to
generate better thumbnails. Probably most useful for "flickr-like"
gallery views where we would want identically sized thumbnails - this
would help increase the odds that something "interesting" is in the
cropped/resized thumbnail
