Maybe AltGr is firing both altKey and CtrlKey? In this case we would
have to make sure that *only* altKey is set in the access key handler.

But it should still not close the window, but save a draft.

FWIW, I don't see this, at least in Linux.
maybe I was not precise enough, I see this with Windows XP + FF 3

Linux is ok

I'm not sure how this can be an issue in IMP(?)  Closing a browser
window is a browser-level function, not a page-level function.
well this is what I see when using WinXP + FF 3 + IMP and "Global
Options -> Locale and Time -> Deutsch"

I'm not able to close any other browser window by using "AltGr + e"

When trying to type a Euro sign (AltGr + e) the compose window gets
closed without warning.

This happens when the language is set to German, it does not happen
when the language is set to English.
