This probably due to a broken prefs value, either in the backend, or 
in the default setting. I added a check (in Horde) to at least prevent 
the error messages popping up when this happens. Beside this, I can't 
reproduce it.

When change setting in Option/Imp/Composition ,all value didn't 
changed successfully to database 
(/horde/services/prefs.php?app=imp&group=compose)
