Hello,

I am currently running imp 4.1.5 and on my main imp menu, I have the legend at the bottom that displays the various states a mesages is in. This is non-existent in the current 4.2-RC3. Was this removed on purpose, then fine, that's too bad, I liked it. If it wasn't, then I am opening this bug to report it. Again, if it was removed on purpose, would you change this ticket to an enhancment request to bring it back, please?

Thanks,

According to the CVS log, it was indeed removed on purpose, as the tooltips make it redundant.

Thanks for the comment Mike. I know this is a bug tracker and not a help system, but would you please let me know how the tooltips is supposed to work? A link to read would be fine. I searched and didn't find any info that I could use. For instance, I send myself a test message with priority set to high. When the mail hits my inbox, I have no way of knowing it's high-priority until I open the item. On previous system, I know right away, in that it's highlighted with date in red, and has the high-priority icon visible on the mail display screen.

I do now have show_preview = true in imp's conf.php and all 5 items checked in mail preview under options.

Just hover your cursor over the icons, the textual description will be displayed in a tooltip.

This really has nothing to do with the legend being removed. Do get the xpriority information back, you need to read docs/UPGRADING. Specifically, the section about the new List Format Hook.

I did read it and all others, I guess I either didn't understand or missed it. Thanks again.

Please close,
