When you change a file in a checked out subversion repository, and then commit the change, the change will not be displayed in Chora.
Only when you add new files to the repository and commit them, then the revision number will be updated to the most recent.
Try it yourself: Check out a svn-repository,
modify some file in the repository and commit the change to the repository.
As you will see, the view in Chora is not changed, so the most recent revision number is not displayed.
