Committed, though I omitted the configuration option since we don't 
have this for search elsewhere.

I agree that this is not very intuitive. I already searched for the 
icon myself because I forgot about the quicksearch. +1 for having the 
search link in both places across all applications.

Oh, there's a small magnification glass next to it I never noticed. Thanks :-)

Hmm, but it's not consistent with the other applications like IMP, 
turba or kronolith.
Turba has the quick search + the menu entry.

Hello,

nag and mnemo lack the usual search button in the menu. Searching is 
currently only available via the sidebar. Attached patch fixes that.
