I don´t understand the ´current Mailbox´, but I would really like to see the relative date search. There is an IMAP WITHIN extension providing YOUNGER and OLDER operators, but at least my cyrus imapd does not support it. However, it is easy to simulate their behavior. 

Patch as proof-of-concept is attached. Still missing: adequate GUI integration (hard-coding on &quot;date &lt;=  d.m.1989&quot; for &quot;younger d days&quot; is not everyones choice, I guess ;o)
