Can we close this ticket and the bounty? Looks to me as if the purpose
of this request is complete.

But one little thing is missing: Convert the item's title, url &
description using 'htmlspecialchars()'
Fixed, thanks.

Initial version added. I haven't had a chance to look deeply yet.
Very cool feature.

But one little thing is missing: Convert the item's title, url &
description using 'htmlspecialchars()' so it will work with -
hopefully all - links.

cheers,

Joerg

Yes, I think per-folder feeds are the way to go. In RSS there's no
elegant way to include categories in a feed of bookmarks; should be
easier in Atom. Other options or additions would be having a feed of
all categories (for a user/share), and a feed containing every
bookmark (oof, but might be useful. gotta cache it ;).

We could do per-folder RSS feeds.  if a folder contains another
folder, it could be a link to the subfolder's RSS feed.

...just a thought

Just thought about it. The problem I encountered is, that RSS doesn't
provide subfolders. So all bookmarks would be in one large list.
That's not so nice.

Any ideas?

Implementing shouldn't a big deal. If someone has a good idea, I could
look for it.

It would be very useful if Trean provided a RSS feed. Like that
Mozilla and Firefox users could use the "Live Bookmark" feature to
access their bookmarks more quickly.
