Currently, if you set an alarm on a task, that alarm is only visible if you are in the task view. Could an enhancement to made to show this task due information on the imp main screen as well? And/or could you add the ability to send task reminders via e-mail.

What does task alarms have to do with IMP? But reminder emai

What does task alarms have to do with IMP? But reminder emails make sense. If you want to implement that on your own, take Kronolith's reminder code as a start.

The only tie into imp is getting it to display, "[task name

The only tie into imp is getting it to display, "[task name] is due in xx" at the top of the screen like it does when looking at tasks. Since the majority of time is spent on the imp interface, one may miss that you have a task alarm set. Maybe just being able to be sent a reminder will do good enough.

I will certainly try to look at the code. I don't really know PHP, but I will at least make an attempt.

Thanks for the consideration.

I support the request for e-mail notification about reminders. What good does the 'alarm'-function do, when there's no alarm?
