As previously mentioned, this message is NOT a MIME message. Thus the content MUST be ASCII text/plain data. This word appears in the message text: "ändern". This is NOT ASCII data and, thus, this message is broken. There is no way of knowing what charset this message is. We fallback to the value of imp's 'default_msg_charset' preference in this case. In this case, your setting of this preference appears to incorrectly match the true charset of the message data.

Works fine here. To further debug this issue, we need details of the IMP -> IMAP/POP communication. To enable debugging, see instructions contained in imp/config/backends.php (the 'debug' config parameter). Debugging should not be enabled on a production server, Attach/post only the portion of the log that directly deals with the problem reported (it may be simplest to clear the log file and then perform the event that causes the error).

sometimes i got emails, where the content is not shown. also opening in an extra window doesn't show anything. switching to text view same result nothing to see. But when i doenload the message and open it with a editor i can read the content with full header and so on.
