This sounds like a duct tape for debugging down incorrect identities.
I'd rather reject this for cleanliness.

Hi there,

If you enter the configured "Sent" folder, it will show the recipient
of a message in the "To" column. This works fine as long as the
sending address is part of the current identities in IMP (see #11318).

If the sender address can't be matched to a current identity, it will
show "From: address-from-removed-or-unknown-identity".

What about adding a tooltip to this "From: xyz" address which also
shows the "To:" recipient?
Otherwise there is no easy way to see it if the identities don't match.

Tooltip might look like
"From: old@address.com, To: recipient@domain.com"

Cheers,
Thomas
