Probably a javascript bug then.

For further debugging information, please read

I know now what caused it but not why. There was an active alarm. The
Alarm failed to show and by that somehow stalled the Compose Message
Window. Is that a horde bug or a misconfiguration on my part. Anyone
with similar problems

For my user the autocompleter and the send button in the compose
message window suddenly stopped working (when the button is pressed
nothing happens no error message, the window does not close), so I
effectively cannot send emails anymore. It works with other users. I
turned the debug output  with maximal level on. When other users type
something in the "To:" field the Debug shows interaction with turba.
With my user nothing happens not even an error message. All my
attempts to remedy the situation so far have failed and I have no clue
where to look. Retrieving a day old horde_prefs failed as well.
