This is fixed in HEAD. For release versions it will need at least
Horde 3.0.1 and IMP 4.0.1, because it adds a new browser quirk.

I heared a rumour that putting a div with hidden overflow into the
cells would work with khtml. this is a wacky workaround, but with a
browser quirk for that rendering engine, I don't really care.

I can see it too, but I haven't had any luck finding a workaround. I
see a few mentions of other people hitting problems with
overflow:hidden and table cells, but no solutions. Ideas?

I can confirm this behavior in Safari 1.2.4 (v125.12) on Mac OS X 10.3.7.

In the Safari browser v1.2.3 (v125.9), a long 'From:' address overlaps
into the 'Subject:' field in the default Inbox view, making both
fields unreadable. This problem is made worse on browsers which are
not maximized, making IMP essentially unusable because From: and
Subject: lines can't be read.
